The Nurses Pub continues investing directly into the future of healthcare through scholarships, mentorship, workforce development, and community partnership initiatives supporting current and future nursing professionals.

SCHOLARSHIP IMPACT 

Scholarship & Educational Support

In 2025, The Nurses Pub awarded over $40,000 in scholarships and educational support initiatives to nursing students and advancing healthcare professionals. Partnered with University of Phoenix, West Coast University, American Career College as major donors for scholarship programs. Provided student scholarships and stipends in partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School After School Program (The Nurses Pub Club).

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT 

Workforce Development & Leadership

Through mentorship, professional engagement, educational advocacy, and leadership development, The Nurses Pub works to strengthen the nursing workforce and support long-term healthcare advancement. Provided students with connection to 1:1 mentorship matching, CPR training. Partnership with Kaiser Permanente to support students with training and employment opportunities. Students supported with resume writing, interview skills and professional development skills. 

COMMUNITY IMPACT 

Community Partnerships

The Nurses Pub collaborates with healthcare leaders, educators, community organizations, and advocates to create meaningful opportunities for nursing professionals and underserved communities. Provided community health fairs. Engaged nursing students with mentorship and hands on educational opportunities in collaboration with a variety of health care organizations.

• Stipends for high school seniors provided through After School grant in conjunction with the Los Angeles Unified School District (H.E.E.T Program)
• Scholarships provided for applicants enrolled in nursing programs and awarded at annual scholarship galas
