our purpose

With the need for nurses globally our event is about raising funds to help inspire, empower and develop a global community of future nurses. We are on a mission to raise $100,000 to support nursing students in the United States and across the globe. 

Our funds will be utilized for the following purposes:

1. The Nurses Pub Scholarship Fund-To provide scholarships for students in the USA and globally.

2. The Nurses Pub Skid Row Initiative-To provide economic and career development for women with children experiencing homelessness by seeking a career in nursing. 

3. The Nurses Pub Resource Center-To build the Nurses Pub Resource Center in an underserved community for nursing students with children.

4. The #100k Outreach Campaign-To continue the global outreach for attracting #100K students to the nursing profession.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER-The Priceless Value of Nurses

levi harrison, md

Seen on The Dr. Oz Show, CNN, Fox TV, Studio 11 LA and the KTLA Morning News, Dr. Harrison earned his medical degree at The University of California Davis, School of Medicine and fellowship at Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis.  

He has a specialization in hand and wrist trauma and fracture care. He also provides exceptional care in the areas of repetitive stress injury (RSI), work-related injuries, athletic injuries, and aesthetic, restorative hand function procedures. 

This particular specialization makes his practice one of California’s premiere orthopedic centers, which serves individuals from a multitude of professions including elite athletes, police officers, firefighters, professional eSports athletes, celebrities, technology specialists, musicians and more.

While providing patients with his Orthopedic expertise, Dr. Levi also provides patients with dynamic weight loss, nutrition and fitness strategies, which is uniquely catered to each patient’s circumstances and health history. 

He has also transferred this knowledge to his comprehensive health and fitness book, “The Art of Fitness: A Journey to Self Enhancement.”

Dr. Levi also provides his expertise to a multitude of media outlets and non-profit organizations. In 2015, Dr. Levi served as the Medical Director of Healthy Athletes at the Special Olympics World Games LA 2015, providing medical oversight to over 6,500 Special Olympics athletes from across the globe. 

His volunteerism and involvement with the Special Olympics World Games LA2015  led to Dr. Levi’s appointment as a board member for West Coast University, one of California’s premier schools for medical professionals.

Felicia Temple, BSN, RN, CAPA

Felicia joined the cast of NBC’s “The Voice,” competing on Blake Shelton’s team. Felicia’s story inspired millions of cancer survivors and musicians alike- and set the stage for the release of her EP. "The Balancing Act" debuted at #22 on the iTunes R&B Charts and has received impressive reviews from bloggers and fans alike. 

To date, Felicia has begun work in patient advocacy, becoming a face of Carcinoid cancer patients, working with the Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network, Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, and American Cancer Society.

She was named the honorary chairperson for the Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network for 2017.

Diane White-Clayton, “Dr. Dee”

Dr. Diane White-Clayton, affectionately known as “Dr. Dee,” is a classically-trained soprano, pianist, conductor and composer. 

Originally from Washington, DC, she holds a PhD & MA in Music Composition from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a BA in Music from Washington University in St. Louis.  

She also studied in Paris, France as a Rotary Scholar, representing the United States as an Ambassador of Goodwill.  She is the Founding Director of the BYTHAX Ensemble, a professional, musically-diverse vocal group.  

The body of her music embraces nuances of soulful gospel, colorful jazz harmonies and classical virtuosity with a passion to touch the depths of our humanity.  A Baptist preacher’s daughter, she commands both stage and podium with grace, eloquence and power.   

Dr. Dee has held various university and church positions and travels extensively as artist, conductor and teacher.  She is an author, speaker, producer and recording artist, as well as a Vocal Clinician Consultant for Disney.  

She owns a publishing & artists support company with her husband and best friend, famed percussionist, Joe Clayton.
